This Halloween, Thomas Street, Limerick will witness the ultimate Zombie apocalypse as Aubars’ annual Zombie Hallowedding returns in conjunction with Outbreak Festival 2012. This zombie themed charity festival will take place from October 25th to 27th concluding with the popular Aubars’ event.
As the dead rise and the night falls, Aubars will become infested with Zombie brides hungry in search of their one true love. Dracula played by Mr. Richard Lynch will take on the role of celebrant as he attempts to find the perfect groom for these lucky ladies – dead or alive! Those lucky enough to survive the ceremony are invited to what’s tipped to be the wedding after party of the year in The Club at Aubars from 11.30pm. Overall, guests can expect, exciting theatrical performances, fire entertainers, live Djs, fun, frights and lots of zombies – along with a range of thrilling surprises. Speaking of the event, Outbreak Festival organiser Mike Mc Loughlin said, ‘Aubars have been fantastic in their support this year, after seeing how great the event was last year, they knew that their popular Hallowedding event would be a perfect fit into the festivities!’.
All Outbreak Festival events will be run in aid of two very worthy causes; Cliona’s Foundation, which helps to relieve financial pressures for the families of terminally ill children and the Mid –West Simon Community who reach out to people who are homeless, at risk of homelessness or experiencing housing difficulties in the Mid West region. The Hallowedding will kick off from 10.00pm in Aubars on Saturday October 27th, with all weird, wacky and wonderful fancy dress attire welcome.
